Alone
Sitting alone on a grassy patch of field can be a fun thing to do okay!
How many of us actually take time off to spend alone at a nice place?
Not many!

Infinity
For after all what is man in nature? A nothing in relation to infinity, all in relation to nothing, a central point between nothing and all and infinitely far from understanding either. The ends of things and their beginnings are impregnably concealed from him in an impenetrable secret. He is equally incapable of seeing the [...]

Raymond Lam Fung @ Changi Airport
I was bidding farewell to a good old friend Daiyan yesterday at the airport when a celebrity appeared. So I decided to snap away.

The Makeshift Studio
Definitely not a photo studio shoot, but I enjoyed shooting these.

Bukit Batok Fire
The fire
Feeling the heat lately?
The recent rise in temperature in Singapore has not only supplemented the recession, but also burnt up quite a bit of our natural resources, literally.

Looking Back
When I entered Trimedia as Photo Editor, I started to worry about how I was going to contribute to the team. It was not the usual post of editing a newspaper or magazine. Instead it was to provide them with the visuals and at the same time, assist them in their editing work.

The Calling
In life we encounter so many paths, so many obstacles.
Which path do we take?

The new dawn
Sunrise
Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: You don’t give up.

Graduation
I was present at the Nan Hua High Graduation 2008 last night to enjoy an eight-course dinner together with good old friends. I personally saw this batch of students grow up from secondary one, and well I guess time flies! Now they’re gone like the wind, and I won’t be seeing many of them anymore [...]

Backstage Work
Working behind the scenes is a task that many have to go through.
Before the limelight actually appears on stage for those in the frontline, it takes quite a lot of effort behind the curtains, behind the cold, double-layered glass. Dance, for example, may take a couple of months to choreograph, but only five minutes to [...]

npTribune Issue One ready. Next up, Hype Magazine.
npTribune is ready. Now I shall brace myself for Hype magazine. Will need to have lots of photographs, and possibly a lot more new wacky ideas.
The Green Light
Time is flying by very quickly. Before I know it, I think I would have graduated.

A Short Break
Was heading home yesterday when I saw the moon and sun at their best. Wasn’t able to catch sunset as I was already on the bus, but I shot down the moon anyhows.
Today I shall take a break from photography – the entire week was spent on shooting, shooting and more shooting. It’s time to [...]

Cold Hearted
Never Have I Fallen
Your lips speak soft sweetness
Your touch a cool caress
I am lost in your magic
My heart beats within your chest
I think of you each morning
And dream of you each night
I think of your arms being around me
And cannot express my delight
Never have I fallen
But I am quickly on my way
You hold a heart [...]

The Creative Lighting System (CLS)
The Nikon Creative Lighting System is possibly the best in the world – I’m able to trigger multiple speedlites to create various types of cool pictures with that. It’s more troublesome to lug around 2 heavy tripods, 2 umbrellas, reflectors and extra camera baggage, but the pictures make it worthwhile.
You Know I’m Crazy
Do check out [...]

Hostage
My whereabouts are unknown.
The territories unrecognised.
Enemies lurk in every dark corner.
But I will not give up.
The time has yet to come.
