I found these videos on youtube and decided to share them with you guys. Think they are really meaningful. Dirty water is just plain horror for the developed countries, but a daily affair with developing countries. Thanks Simon Owens for sharing the second video.

Bukit Batok Fire
The fire
Feeling the heat lately?
The recent rise in temperature in Singapore has not only supplemented the recession, but also burnt up quite a bit of our natural resources, literally.

Looking Back
When I entered Trimedia as Photo Editor, I started to worry about how I was going to contribute to the team. It was not the usual post of editing a newspaper or magazine. Instead it was to provide them with the visuals and at the same time, assist them in their editing work.

npTribune Issue One ready. Next up, Hype Magazine.
npTribune is ready. Now I shall brace myself for Hype magazine. Will need to have lots of photographs, and possibly a lot more new wacky ideas.

Time is flying by very quickly. Before I know it, I think I would have graduated.

A Short Break
Was heading home yesterday when I saw the moon and sun at their best. Wasn’t able to catch sunset as I was already on the bus, but I shot down the moon anyhows.
Today I shall take a break from photography – the entire week was spent on shooting, shooting and more shooting. It’s time to [...]

More Work
It was a very busy day today.
Started off with me trying to fix up some administrative matters with Uncle Jack, the TSO (Technical Support Officer). The conglomerate will be bidding for a set of studio lights for feature shoots and product photography, and he’s the best person to approach on campus.
The day went [...]

Work
Things are piling up on me, and I spend most of my time in office doing paperwork for the conglomerate. I guess its what I like – doing all these media stuff. I also guess this means I will never get a girlfriend at this rate. Ho hums!

Refreshment
Villagers from Choy Takeo not only bathe in these river waters, but also obtain water for food and washing. Seen here is a young boy taking a dip after jumping off a bridge because of the hot weather.

Day 1 – Phnom Penn Central Market
The Phnom Penn Central Market is the place where people of the city come together to trade wares and sell foodstuff. The place is a treasure trove for photographers, and the people there are all friendly enough to pose naturally for pictures.

As most of you would have known, I embarked on a trip to Cambodia on 1 September, and only returned yesterday. Look out for a whole series of photo posts this week!

Updates
Hi everyone! I’m blogging from my hotel in Cambodia… I’m doing fine, just totally burnt from the heat over here… The food needed some adapting to, and the muddy roads of the villages were an obstacle. But, I”ve collected so many nice photos that when I’m back, you’ll get to see unimaginable stuff. Well, just [...]

Away From Home
Hi everyone, I will be away in Cambodia from tomorrow onwards, from 1 to 11 September. I will still be contact-able by phone or sms, but it will cost quite a bit, so only contact me should there be a calamity. I will definitely miss this sunny island, my dear home. More details of my [...]

The Great Escape
I will be going away this Monday, as mentioned in my previous posts, and won’t be back until 11th September. It’s going to be an escapade, as its my first time travelling so far and long away from the little red dot.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I…

Vaccination in preparation for the Cambodia trip started today, and the team had to go through 3 injections. Inactivated forms of Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Tetanus were on the menu.

40 Depressive Mornings
Starting Friday, I will be starting on my daily morning dose of Doxycycline, an antibiotic drug used to prevent Malaria through primary Prophylaxis. The dark blueish-green pills which have ugly letterings on them totally turn me off, and I think I’m going to suffer from depression.

One-Room Flat Editing Process
The Schedule
As I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve been working on a One-Room Flat Documentary Production. It’s been a long journey since I first started, and its coming to the final lap. Then again, my group and I are really feeling the strain. Subtitling can be a real chore – just imagine sitting for [...]
