I had dinner with my sis, Jessica, today at Admiralty’s KFC!
We took some pictures on the way there, and here is one of them:

I made a trip down to Labrador Park this evening with Xianjie, and we made photos with the extended 900mm supertelephoto lens.
We also attempted to shoot the moon down with the lens, and here’s the result of my attempt:
I chanced upon a photo of my godsis Xinyi on
Clara’s flickr account
I LOVE MY GODSIS!
Shes such a sweetie!
Billy from SYD made mention that he’s interested in a “MTV” type of production using Jay’s songs. I’ve not done such a production before, but would love to give it a try.
Here’s an example from youtube.

I popped over to Xianjie’s home to take a look at some filters he had to show, and witnessed an ancient slideshow using a slide projector. We gathered up all our equipment for a group photo:
Sadly, my Nikon D70s and 50mm f1/8 lens cannot be in the photo as they were used to take it.

I made a trip down to Punggol today for a photography outing with a group of about 10 people. We then split into two groups, one headed for the sea and another headed for a “longkang” (drain). I chose the path less taken – the longkang.
The area was strewn with wild grass that reached my [...]

I was suddenly called upon to undertake a photography task at Nan Hua by TXY Boyi. As most of the shots are officially copyrighted now by zaobao/friday weekly, I’m going to post those pictures of which I’m not submitting.
Kiat Hoon and Siew Kiang on stage
Punggol has always left an impression on me that it’s an underpopulated town full of empty fields and grass. I made a trip there today with Xianjie and Siew Kiang to make photos, and got caught in a rather moderate drizzle. I promptly put up a poncho for my camera and shot this:
Dragonflies are such [...]
I visited the Chinese Gardens today with the company of Edna. There’s a spiral staircase there; one that’s perfect for shooting downwards!
Also, I chanced upon several news articles on the Straits Times that mentioned the rising popularity of Mass Communications @ Ngee Ann Polytechnic! Click the links below to view the articles.

I was walking along the Chinese Gardens today when I chanced upon this:
It’s truly such a pity that the media has influenced the youths of today in such a fashion…
At such a young and tender age, how can one truly understand and comprehend the concept of love?
With the help of a fresh roll of raffia string and a termite infested piece of wood, I managed to jump across the platforms and jump back to safety with my lens cap. It was a moment that I failed to capture down with my camera as I was the one in action. What a [...]
The lens cap cannot be retrieved without risking my life, and I’m not too sure if I’m willing to do that for a $20 object. Meanwhile, I purchased a nikon lens cap today from Lord’s camera at Lucky Plaza. It works better than the tamron one, but I still have emotions attached to tt tamron [...]
I dropped my lens cap today while shooting a frog on the 2 storey high sunsetway bridge. Its imposible to reach it from the top of the bridge, and the only way to retrieve it is a dangerous jump over a fenced area and a 1 metre drop into the murky waters of the canal. [...]
I was caught in a rather interesting bus accident today…
I was basically travelling on the bus with 12 SYD members and aproximately 25 TXY members when 3 large pieces of debris fell from the truck in front and hit the bus on 3 sides, shattering the front and driver’s windscreen into vivid cobwebs of cracks [...]
